The Senior Principal Engineer will be responsible for hands-on and ground-up application development of testing applications utilized by entities of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). These applications built by the team of Engineers, will provide functional and expanded testing by utilizing the agile methodology incorporating DevOps CI/CD principles within the AWS cloud. Expanded areas of testing will not be limited to security, accessibility, and performance.
Minimum of 12+ years' experience in hands-on software development from scratch
Expert in hands-on Ruby Development
Minimum of 7 years' professional experience in hands-on Ruby Development from scratch
Minimum of 2 years' professional experience with Cucumber
Knowledge and professional experience with agile techniques to include continuous testing.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Test-Driven Development (TTD) environment
Minimum of 3 years' experience in an Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATTD) environment
Knowledge and professional experience with DevOps techniques to include continuous integration and continuous delivery
Knowledge and professional experience in a cloud environment
Minimum of 5 years' professional experience automation testing
Amazon Web Services (AWS) Certified –highly preferred
Experience with Selenium WebDriver –highly preferred
Experience in scripting Java –highly preferred
Section 508 Certification and experience
Experience with SQL queries
Experience with SoapUI
Experience with programming languages to include C# and PHP
Experience with tools such as Testrail, JAWS, NVDA, Chromelens, Sortsite, Screener.io, Wave, and Allure
Experience with source control tools such as Git, SVN, and TFS
Experience with Collaboration and communication tools such as JIRA, HipChat, Swagger, and Confluence
