Dimmitt Insurance Agency is seeking energetic, independent sales professionals for Licensed P&C Insurance Agent positions. Dimmitt Insurance, a part of the Dimmitt Auto Group, serving the west coast of Florida since 1924, well positions it’s agents to provide all lines of quality personal and commercial insurance.
The Insurance Producer connects with current & potential clients to gather information, review their needs, discuss & recommend coverage options, shop the market, and sell the most comprehensive policy at the best possible rate. The Insurance Producer is expected to bring a high level of professionalism and customer service with them every day as well as uphold agency standard operating procedures and guidelines. The producer will also be a valued resource for the client in the event of a claim and will help clients through the process.

Responsibilities:

Build rapport & trust with prospective clients by showing & providing value

Develop relationships with clients & referral sources to grow business

Utilize agency & industry resources to develop a coordinated protection plan by calculating and quoting rates for immediate coverage and long-term strategies.

Provide excellent customer service by conducting policy reviews, making coverage recommendations, and completing endorsements or writing a new policy when needed.

Work with support staff to ensure new policy documents are delivered and future follow-up is planned to evaluate needs or cross sell.

Manages all required paperwork and records and prepares documentation (forms, inspection reports, etc.) as needed.

Develops potential clients by utilization of mailings, phone solicitation, presentations to industry related groups, company-sponsored gatherings, the public, and sphere of influence

Obtains underwriting approval by following carrier guidelines and submitting a completed application for coverage.

Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
Qualifications:

220 or 2044 – FL Property & Casualty License Required
