TITLE: Lead Risk Reporting and Analytics
DUTIES: Discover Products Inc. seeks Lead Risk Reporting and Analytics in Riverwoods, IL to support reporting and analytic requests and provide qualitative and quantitative analysis for new model development or fine tuning of existing rules, monitoring trends, assisting with implementation or improvement of transaction monitoring controls and monitoring program systems. Develops and runs a variety of ad-hoc analysis on key driver performance, models and testing sensitivities. Performs validation and testing of models to ensure adequacy and reformulate models as necessary. Collaborate with senior managers and decision makers to identify and solve a variety of problems and to clarify management objectives. Designs, develops and manages new reports and dashboards designed to provide management a view into company performance. Ensures the timely development and distribution of established periodic reports. Expands and enhances analytic capabilities. Continues to improve process, explore and adopt new tools. Collaborates with various business partners on project request, prioritization and delivery. Promote a risk-aware culture to ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Economics, Finance, Business Management, Statistics, Mathematics or a related quantitative field and four (4) years of experience in job offered or related position: monitoring and interpreting performance trends, evaluating metrics and other information gathered from multiple sources; Identifying and reporting on current and emerging risks; automating manual process by developing data logic with auto scheduling, implementing interactive analytic reports and dash board using data visualization products such as Tableau; utilizing technologies including SAS, SQL, Tableau, R and MS Excel. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent and two (2) years of experience in the above listed skills.
