The Listing Assistant is an individual who is outgoing, draws energy from working with people, and is optimistic. They have a strong sense of urgency, but not at the expense of quality. In addition, he/she demonstrates on a daily basis the knowledge, attitudes, skills, and habits of a high achiever who is committed to putting clients first, doing the right thing, and seeking win-win agreements. The Listing Assistant must be adaptable to change and be solutions oriented. He/She will manage the entire listing process efficiently and effectively to ensure all listings are processed on time, with little or no hassle to clients and third parties. This individual must provide exceptional customer service.

Essential duties and responsibilities

  • Assist Lead Listing Agent by preparing pre-Listing packets, Listing packets
  • Create and maintain listing systems to ensure all steps of the process are streamlined
  • Communicate with vendors through the listing process such as photographers, home warranty companies, contractors, etc
  • Prepare and input listing data into the MLS
  • Create marketing pieces through systems/tools provided
  • Market listings through social media sites
  • Communicate all showings and feedback to the seller
  • High communication skills with sellers on a daily/weekly basis
  • Create systems to ensure all processes from listing the property are streamlined
  • Assist Transaction coordinator when needed
