In partnership with MicroVision’s executive and leadership teams, the Senior Director of Human Resources will be responsible for creating, developing and executing programs that enhance the employment experience of a talented team pursuing extraordinary engineering challenges and innovative go-to-market strategies. Reporting directly to the CEO, this individual will work with leaders and across the organization to build and implement a people strategy that aligns with our long-term vision. The person in this role will own the entire employee experience and drive people operations and culture initiatives focused on stimulating a high-performing, results-oriented learning organization. They will bring a fun, entrepreneurial spirit and can flex from strategic business partnership to tactical hands-on execution.

Relying on prior human resource leadership experience and demonstrated success in developing and implementing human resource strategies, the Senior Director of Human Resources and team will contribute to creative, strategic and tactical solutions that will influence outcomes aligned with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as a strategic partner to the executive team to build a world-class culture and successfully implement strategic and innovative human capital solutions supporting business growth and transformation
Contribute to making MicroVision a performance driven “learning organization” by partnering closely with the executive leadership team to develop and implement effective and scalable development programs
Provide leadership by demonstrating a clear understanding of the business, trends, and needs of the organization; benchmark internal and external environments to develop human resource initiatives to enhance overall business performance
Coach and develop leaders, including diagnosing organizational issues and developing plans to resolve them
Create and measure key metrics that are designed to translate into employee happiness, performance, engagement, and retention
Provide leadership, direction, and counsel in all of the disciplines of human resources
Define and develop comprehensive human resource strategies and programs that address the areas of talent management, employee development, diversity, training, employee relations, and compensation

Ability to build strong relationships with leaders at all levels to obtain successful outcomes and move the business forward

Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from accredited institution
10+ years relevant human resource experience with increasing responsibility
5+ years management responsibility
Experience working in a human resource capacity within the technology industry
Experience working in a small to mid-sized company preferred
