Pharmaceutical Field Sales Representative, Pediatrics
Ashfield Engage has a long-standing partnership with our client, a global leader in Nutritional Sciences, across our Commercial business. The Pharmaceutical Sales Representative will drive the use of nutrition products to pediatricians in the assigned territory.
We are seeking a performance-driven, proven, ambitious, and competitive sales professional who is willing to put forth discretionary effort to go the extra mile. This is a highly innovative role, which requires you to drive use of pediatric nutrition products in your assigned territory through brand messaging, focused call plan execution, utilization of product materials, and product access.

What will you be doing?
-
Establish, maintain, and develop strong relationships with Pediatricians and office staff, and customers

Deliver appropriate and approved information and relevant messaging to target accounts
-
Achieve call and sales activity targets as set by the company within the community of the assigned geography, effectively driving pediatric platform sales.

Meets/exceeds sales and profit objectives in assigned accounts. Set specific growth plans within assigned accounts utilizing territory and routing plans.

Create and drive relationships within targeted accounts including higher-level stakeholders in order to gain buy-in for products within targeted accounts.

Complete administrative duties as required
What do you need for this position?

Bachelor’s degree
-
2+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience is required
-
Pediatric therapeutic experience preferred
-
A proven track record of driving results, customer service, hospitality, or equivalent sales/industry experience

Competitive, outgoing, motivated with trailblazing mentality

Ability to learn scientific information and be able to educate customers

Able to handle fast pace and high volume of face-to-face interaction

Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills

Strong work ethic

Enthusiastic, passionate individual with a positive attitude

Excellent communication skills

Ability/willingness to travel as needed

Timeliness

Computer literacy with advanced skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Experience with CRM software and territory planning

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
