Chicago Portable X-Ray is seeking a Mobile Medical Imaging Technologist (Mobile Xray Tech) to perform imaging at the patient’s location (nursing home, assisted living, hospital, etc.). This position serves the Chicagoland area of Illinois.
In this role, you will perform diagnostic imaging exams using advanced x-ray technology. Responsibilities include operating x-ray equipment, positioning patients, explaining procedures to patients to ensure their comfort, and adhering to safety protocols. You will collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely imaging results. Transportation and equipment are provided.
Qualifications:
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) certification
- In-depth knowledge of x-ray safety and protocols
- Experience in x-ray technology and performing diagnostic imaging exams
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Gentle, caring, and patient demeanor
- Ability to represent the organization professionally
- Must be able to pass a drug test, background check, and physical
