Where You’ll Work:
Our corporate office is in Grandview, OH, just minutes from downtown Columbus and close to many vibrant restaurants and entertainment venues. You’ll work alongside several other corporate team members including the operations, accounting, IT, facilities, and human resources team.
What You’ll Do:
As an Asset Management Associate, you’ll participate, in conjunction with the Asset Manager, in the asset management responsibilities for a portfolio of approximately 20 assets. Responsibilities include monthly and ad-hoc property and portfolio level financial reporting and operational analysis, ongoing forecasting related primarily to an existing portfolio of multifamily real estate assets, and frequent interaction with the operations and accounting teams to drive asset performance and grow portfolio value.
Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual partner reporting summarizing both property and portfolio level financial and operational performance, with a primary focus on required Monthly Operations Statements.
Support Asset Manager by participating in the review of monthly financial statements provided by property management.
Prepare analysis related to maximizing revenues and minimizing expenses that lead to strategies to improve asset performance.
Provide ongoing information and analysis as requested by multiple equity partners and debt servicers as directed by Asset Manager. This includes the responsibility for directing quarterly replacement reserves submissions to lenders, ensuring accuracy of leasing reports/revenue metrics, and maintaining highly organized asset level files.
Weekly review, in conjunction with accounting, of all expenses for each asset within portfolio.
Collect market data and conduct benchmarking analysis through research platforms.
Assist in the analysis, development, and review of annual property operating budgets and business plans and provide reforecasting as necessary thereafter.
Participate in recurring portfolio level calls and provide/maintain notes internally as necessary.

Bachelor’s Degree required with emphasis in Accounting, Finance, or Economics preferred.
0-2 years of real estate, asset management and/or investment experience.
Experience with Microsoft Office projects, especially Excel.
