Salisbury University is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Office Clerk II in the Facilities Reservations/Conference Planning Office.

Primary Job Duties: Scheduling campus facilities for internal and external customers, in accordance with Salisbury University (SU) Facility Usage Policy, as well as other departmental policies within SU. Assist customers with reservations through, phone, in office, and electronic communications. Provide support to resource managers and satellite schedulers using the EMS software. Provide training to campus users on the EMS software. Troubleshoot issues to assist customers. Edit reservations and automated correspondences, as necessary. Communicate information regarding scheduled events and activities to the campus community through daily and weekly reports. General office support. May provide guidance and instruction to office clerks and assistants.

Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED and two (2) years of clerical experience required.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required. General knowledge of office practices, procedures, and equipment; of grammar, spelling and punctuation. Skill in preparing reports; in operating manual and automated office equipment; in performing mathematical computations; in performing routine clerical tasks; in filing documents according to alphabetic and numeric sequences. Ability to plan and independently perform specialized clerical tasks; to understand and interpret department policies and procedures; to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; to follow oral and written instructions; to establish and maintain effective work relationships; to operate personal computers and assigned word processing and spreadsheet software.

Preferred Qualifications: Scheduling experience preferred.

This is a full-time, non-exempt State position with a full benefits package. Starting salary is $28,956.00 annually, which is approximately $13.88 per hour.
