Work alongside Smith's experienced New York sales team by assisting with key accounts, identifying new market opportunities and contributing to our global organization. Also, provide administrative support to the office. Excellent opportunity to learn and develop sales skills to eventually become an International Account Representative.
Essential Job Duties
Research potential clients to verify viability, product use and contact information
Cold calling and prospecting of customers to advertise the value added services we offer
Enter and maintain customer profiles in our sales database
Provide support to key accounts and customers
Work with the Traders to best represent Smith & Associates to our clients
Create and enter purchase orders and requirements into the sales system
Work closely with Smith's Operations Department to correct discrepancies and confirm parts for shipping
Maintain and update internal reports for sales team
Excellent customer service skills
Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
Strong written and verbal communication skills required
Prior sales administration or sales support experience
Lead generation experience using social media, mass customer correspondence or other marketing channels
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Microsoft Office Suite
Prior CRM or sales management software
