Sr. Executive Assistant – NYC

As a Sr. Executive Assistant, you will provide executive-level support to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). You will oversee and manage the flow and exchange of information, streamline interactions and facilitate initiatives on behalf of the CMO. This will include calendar management, handling travel logistics, responding to information requests and acting efficiently as a representative of the CMO. The position functions under minimal supervision. Work is often done without established procedures. Contacts are frequent within and outside of the company and involve obtaining or providing information on matters of some importance to the company and may be of a sensitive nature.
This full-time position will report directly to the CMO and will be based in our NYC location.

About the Role:
In this role, you will be representing the office of the Chief Marketing Officer and will help support CA Technologies’ charter to transform the IT industry by:
Organizing workflow by reviewing correspondence and determining importance of such, before distributing to executive
Screening and directing incoming calls, correspondence and visitors
Answering questions and furnishing information to keep the executive's time free of minor detail work
Composing and edit correspondence on behalf of the executive
Scheduling appointments and coordinate arrangements for meetings ensuring the executive meets the commitments
Coordinating and arrange all domestic and international travel
Gathering data from a variety of sources for inclusion in technical reports and presentations; performs independent research and prepares information for special projects as required
Developing, maintaining, updating, reconciling and analyzing spreadsheet information for basic management reporting
Acting as a liaison between groups under the responsibility of the executive
Attending designated conferences and meetings, taking and transcribing minutes
Handling confidential material relevant to company operations
Preparing information for senior management meetings
How You’ll Stand Out:
The perfect candidate for this role will have a demonstrated record of success in positions of increasing responsibility over the course of their career. She/he will have an outstanding track record and reputation for being proactive, assertive and detail oriented. An ideal background includes the following traits and skills:
Typically, 10+ years relevant experience in a C-level, executive support role at the highest corporate level. Prior C-suite support is required.
Well organized, flexible and the ability to work under pressure
Expert skills in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
Excellent phone etiquette
Understanding of the need to act with discretion and maintain confidentiality
Ability to work independently and accurately
