Forte is the industry-leading provider of software and services in the critical areas of clinical trial management, clinical data management and research administration for cancer centers, academic medical centers and health systems.

The office assistant ensures Forte and its team members are able to function effectively by managing the day to day office and kitchen operations. The office assistant is the face and voice of Forte and is expected to maintain the utmost professionalism and pleasant communication.

Essential Job Duties (in order of priority)
Greet visitors and administer Forte’s check-in process
Operate multiline phone system to answer, screen, or forward calls, and appropriately manage taking messages, forwarding to voicemails, etc.
Ensure employee kitchens are well-stocked and clean. This includes taking inventory of and purchasing/transporting supplies, stocking food and drinks, and loading/unloading the dishwashers
Order office and mailing supplies, and ensure inventory meets staff needs
Process incoming/outgoing mail, UPS Shipments and FedEx Shipments
Order lunch for internal business meetings
Coordinate logistical support for general meetings including room set up/clean up
Plan and assist with onsite and offsite company-wide events
Assist Human Resources with onboarding process (assist new team members assimilate into Forte culture, respond to new team member’s questions)
Assist with travel arrangements and/or hotel accommodations for staff
Perform administrative tasks and work on special projects, as assigned
All other duties as assigned

Education
High School diploma, or equivalent required
Experience
Previous office administration experience preferred
