Q&A WITH ARMANINO NONPROFIT TAX SENIOR MANAGER, KATY BROWN
Why should someone want to work for Armanino's Nonprofit Practice?
“This is a large, thriving practice within a consistently growing firm. Not only is it Armanino’s largest practice by the number of clients and the second largest practice by total revenue, but it is also the largest Nonprofit practice in California.
Armanino is committed to the success of this practice and provides all the necessary resources to help us get there. We have a large group of Audit Partners dedicated to the Nonprofit practice full-time and an abundance of Audit Managers who are in the field 365 days a year, focused on providing exceptional client service. As our nonprofit practice continues to grow, our dedicated nonprofit tax team has increasing opportunities for growth and to work with an impressive variety of clients throughout the state.
We have some of the highest profile and most notable clients in the Bay Area. This is the preeminent West Coast Nonprofit practice.”
Why do you think this position is a good opportunity for a Nonprofit Tax Staff or Senior Accountant?
“The opportunity is here for somebody to grow into an established resource for a firm with a large and expanding practice throughout California. We’re looking for an ambitious individual who is interested in rising quickly through the ranks to become a subject-matter expert and senior professional in the firm.
This person will be set up for nothing but success. We have senior level leadership, a busy and ever-growing practice, and a rare opportunity to be part of an existing team, with high growth potential. If somebody wants to make a name for themselves in this field, this is the perfect opportunity.”
WHY OUR NONPROFIT TAX EXPERTS JOINED ARMANINO
“Armanino offers an exciting opportunity to focus solely on Nonprofit organizations, and to be an essential part of a real specialty practice within a large, resource-rich firm. Successful team members meet and work with top executives at major nonprofit organizations and get high visibility in the practice area. Working in nonprofit provides a steadier workflow than a traditional individual and business tax practice, which means that we stay busy year-round, but we avoid the extreme highs and lows of a traditional busy season. This is a real opportunity to build a career that has major impact on a huge business sector throughout California.
I also appreciate the entrepreneurial spirit among the Partners because it means your voice is heard much more than at other firms. We welcome innovative ideas for improving on our daily business and operations from team members at all levels. New ideas and approaches are encouraged.”
