The Advanced Clinical Associate (ACA) is responsible for capturing accurate and detail documentation for medical visits and procedures as directed by providers and assist in the clinical workflow as needed.

High School Diploma required
Bachelor’s degree preferred (preferred in the fields of Training, Education, Sciences or health-related disciplines)
Medical Scribe experience preferred
0-2+ years of experience preferred in a medical setting, preferably in urgent care
One of the following licensures/certifications is required:
CCMA- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (verified through NHA, National Healthcareer Association)
CMA- Certified Medical Assistant (verified through AAMA, American Association of Medical Assistant)
RMA- Registered Medical Assistant (verified through AMT, American Medical Technologists)
NCMA- National Certified Medical Assistant (verified through NCCT, National Center for Competency Testing)
ABR-OE- Assessment-Based Recognition in Order Entry; CPOE- Computerized Physician Order Entry (verified through AAMA, American Association of Medical Assistants)
CMSS – Certified Medical Scribe Specialist (verified through ACMSS, American College of Medical Scribe Specialists)
Licensed Healthcare Professional with active licensure/certification that does not apply to any of the above:
Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
Radiologic Technologist (RT, ARRT certified)
Registered Nurse (RN)
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
