The Advanced Concept Engineer (ACE) is a technical leader who will spearhead new business with the Department of Defense including the Defense Intelligence Agency. The candidate will drive technology innovation using mission expertise, communication excellence and strong professional relationships. The candidate will identify and create new opportunities while connecting mission and technology thought leaders across L3Harris. The ideal candidate will have significant experience and knowledge with data collection systems. He or she will have the ability to develop system architectures and generate trade studies for sensor platforms.
Develop marketing strategies to support business growth objectives.
Provide market analysis to support strategic growth planning activities.
Develop and iteratively improve a cohesive, long-term business strategy that addresses market/customer needs, technology development, differentiated solutions, customer relationships, and organizational alignment.
Interpret and create requirements for key L3Harris acquisitions.
Evaluates customer and /operational needs to help define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces.
Determines whether requirements can be met with existing capabilities/designs or if new design requirements must be developed.
Provides technical coordination between external customer’s engineers, industry engineers and internal engineering groups to articulate technical issues.
Prepares and presents technical information internally and externally that addresses specific subjects of interest.
Advocates the customer’s critical needs to internal stakeholders.
Works across a variety of mission domains.
Cultivate strategic relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 9 years of prior related experience or a Graduate degree with a minimum of 7 years of prior related Space System experience; or equivalent.
Familiarity with Department of Defense.
Active TS/SCI security clearance.
