This position is responsible for developing the most accurate customer / SKU forecast using JDA, SAP reporting and collaborative influence to obtain the most accurate assumptions for a short and long-term forecast. The position is based in Bel USA Corporate Office.
Essential duties and responsibilities
Leads customer meetings for SKUs that fall within area of responsibility in accordance with the Supply Chain Group practices.
Prepare, analyse and adjust data inputs for the generation of the baseline forecast within the JDA Demand Planning platform.
Monitor performance, recommend action plans, update and maintain JDA Demand Planning platform in a fashion that delivers forecast accuracy for their assigned area of responsibility as well as the department.
Manage the input of relevant promotions, new products, POS, customer market trends, historical adjustments and maintains information tables within the JDA Demand Planning platform.
Collaborates with sales, marketing and supply planning to obtain necessary information for the forecasting process.
Responsible for reporting on the drivers of the demand planning performance metrics monthly to the Demand Planning Manager for SKU’S that fall within area of responsibility.
Maintain JDA Demand Planning system to ensure new items are set up and forecasts are accurately transferring within the internal systems. Ensure discontinued items are removed from system. Use company established practices and procedures in the maintenance, problem solving and system enhancements related to SAP & JDA.
Meet or exceed all Demand Planning Key Performance Indicators utilizing SAP, JDA & BW as the reporting source for Demand Planning performance.
Qualifications and Competencies
1.) Minimum degree and experience required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Supply Chain
Minimum 3 years experience in demand planning and statistical forecasting in a promotional driven, CPG environment
Minimum 3 years experience in using JDA Demand Planning
Minimum 3 years experience in using SAP Business Warehouse (BW)
Minimum 3 years experience in forecasting for short shelf life products
APICS / IBF certification is preferred
Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Must have strong communication; written and verbal.
Ability to leverage Microsoft Office tools in the analysis and presentations for inter-departmental activities.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fashion that embraces and drives positive change.

Working Conditions: Work is performed largely in an office environment. Hours of work will generally be during regular business hours with at least 40 hours or more a week. At times there will be some variation in work hours due to special projects, deadlines and other concerns. Occasional travel may be required.
