The Execution Coordinator is an integral part of the Kenai Refining, LLC routine maintenance leadership team. The Execution Coordinator is responsible for the overall performance of the execution maintenance contractors. It is the Execution Maintenance Coordinator’s responsibility to ensure that the execution maintenance contractor’s business is conducted in a safe, environmentally sound and profitable manner.
Works with the Routine Maintenance Team to develop long range team goals which support Kenai Refining, LLC goals. Makes work assignments as necessary to accomplish the goals.
Provides information on schedules and cost of supplemental work in the areas to the area teams to help in the development of production forecasts.
Understands the impact of daily decisions and directions on the refinery’s expense budget and avoids exceeding the budget on a monthly basis. If the budget is exceeded on a YTD basis, the Execution Maintenance Supervisor must implement a plan to reduce costs in the out-months to recover.
Follows and enforces all policies and procedures, leads by example.
Conducts meetings effectively and efficiently, including setting and distributing an agenda, ensuring attendance and facilitating the meeting.
Coaches group members in the aspects of teamwork, such as how the group is to function, and workflows.
Coordinates execution maintenance activities that are scheduled as part of the 12-month look-ahead plan for the area teams. Works with the area teams to balance supplemental manpower required to accomplish this work.
Is responsible for compliance with all SIP and PSM requirements for supplemental maintenance group.
Implements and documents SIP plan for assigned employees.
Ensures that all maintenance activities are carried out in compliance with the elements of the PSM standard.
Audits safety rules and procedures to ensure they are being followed.
Ensures daily supplemental maintenance activities comply with safety and environmental regulations. Conducts full investigations of each supplemental maintenance related 191 and field execution related RIR’s in their area of responsibility.
5yrs refinery maintenance or operations experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong computer skills (SAP, MS Office, Web based applications, etc.).

10yrs refinery maintenance or operations experience.
Project management, scoping, scheduling, and proposal review experience.
Bachelors in Engineering or a Construction Management program.
