JOB PURPOSE
The E-commerce Marketing Analyst will have an in-depth understanding of marketing, e-commerce, and retail analytics. They will design, create, and interpret reports to help Natural Life’s leadership team make data-based decisions that will positively impact the business and lead to a deeper understanding of overall e-commerce and retail trends. They should be able to support their expertise creating data-driven solutions with personal case studies of their work. They will perform analysis and reporting on current e-commerce & retail trends and website purchases, and make recommendations based on the data, working closely with E-commerce, Digital Marketing, Merchandising, and Product Development. The position requires a strong understanding of e-commerce site usability and design, and a solid technical understanding of digital customer interfaces. The E-commerce Marketing Analyst must hold him or herself to the highest standard of professionalism and be able to promote a culture of innovation, integrity, enthusiasm, and performance.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Draw a comprehensive and strategic roadmap that produces and increases sales by reviewing website and retail analytics.
Generate and analyze trend reports for the business as whole, as well as sales, marketing, product development, and website traffic.
Work with the VP of Marketing & E-commerce on all things analytics for the entire company; collaborate effectively with leadership, product development, and digital marketing teams.
Responsible for all systems pertaining to analytics, such as Tableau, Adobe Analytics, and Google Analytics.
Look at the bigger picture of the entire company and marketing department to run analytics and provide insight into trends that you are seeing.
Actively keep abreast of online marketing, e-commerce technology, and customer trends to develop innovations to drive new traffic acquisition and increase customer engagements and conversion.
Organize and work independently on multiple assigned tasks/projects and complete assignments within specified deadlines.
Communicate effectively verbally and in writing to all levels of staff & management, outside officials & agencies, and the public, expressing ideas and instructions clearly & concisely.
Compile & analyze complex information, and research & develop solutions to complex issues.
Work well under pressure.
Demonstrate skills critical for success including leadership, decisiveness, flexibility, sound business judgment, and highly developed personal, analytical, and communication skills.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
At least three years of marketing analytics reporting and analysis experience for a retail company; retail e-commerce or lifestyle brand preferred.
Hands-on experience with Google Analytics 360, Microsoft Excel, and Tableau (or similar); in-depth knowledge of Adobe Analytics preferred.
Background providing insightful recommendations based on data analysis that contributes to positive sales growth.
Demonstrated experience partnering with other creatives and executives to brainstorm ideas – we are very much a “do it together” culture.
Proven track record of analytics success; should be able to provide a portfolio of successful data driven solutions you’ve created with ROI and metrics outlined.
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
