To support the Naval Forces Logistics (NFL) contract team supporting COMSUBLANT (NSSC) located at Groton, CT.
Specific responsibilities include:
Description: Analyzes specific problems or aspects of NOF logistics, AISs and Software working with applicable files, reports and interfacing with activity personnel. Performs significant portions of technical functions similar to those of the Intermediate Logistics Analyst.
Analysis of end user supply transactional records for FIAR compliance.
Logistic analysis of repair part and consumable material consumption rates.
Deployment spares analysis
Material outstanding file analysis
Management policy recommendations for end user stores management
Little to no travel required for this position.
Typically requires an Associate degree in Business Administration, Management, or related business discipline. As a substitute, one year of experience in logistics and AISs management in combination with information systems software programming, design and/or analysis may be substituted for each year of college education.
In addition to any experience which is substituted for education, the JLA must have two years of experience in Navy logistics, automated supply, logistics, inventory management, financial management and the functionality of the automated supply systems.
Note: If candidate does not have a degree as listed above, they must have a total of at least three (3) years’ experience.
Military experience working with Navy or Marine Corps logistics.
Must have proficiency with Microsoft Excel/Access.
The ideal candidate would have experience obtained as a former U.S. Marine Corps logistician or U.S. Navy Logistics Specialist (LS)
Ability to analyze logistic data, reach conclusions, and develop corrective measures as needed.
Possess strong verbal skills to convey analysis results and recommendations.
