This BAE Systems program supports our federal customer who plays a key role in providing direct cybersecurity support, coordination and communications to all Federal Executive Branch agencies.
This program interacts with various government agencies, federal Chief Information Officers (CIOs), and Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) to help transform Federal Government cybersecurity risk management through effective collaboration, operational governance and training, and providing meaningful metrics and assessments in support of agency decision making. We will assist in the development of innovative approaches to drive change in cybersecurity risk management across the federal government to prevent or minimize disruptions to critical information infrastructure. As part of this team, you will contribute to the assessment of current cybersecurity systems, policies, and processes to enforce standards and identify vulnerabilities and capability gaps, and to synthesize this data to reduce cybersecurity risk of our customer networks.
Assists in applying common best practices for the industry to the customer using a knowledge base to create conceptual business models and to identify relevant issues and considerations in selecting application software packages.
Assess the operational and functional baseline of an organization and its organizational components, and help to define the direction and strategy for an engagement while ensuring the organizational needs are being addressed.
Typical areas addressed include Human Resources, Finance, Supply, and operations. Identify information technology inadequacies and/or deficiencies that affect the functional area’s ability to support/meet organizational goals. Generate functional area strategies for enhanced IT operations in a cross-functional area mode throughout the organization. Participate in account strategy sessions, strategic assessments and design reviews to validate enterprise approach and associated work products, such as ERP implementations coordinating the resolution of highly complex problems and tasks.
Typical Education & Experience
Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 6 years work experience or equivalent experience
Required Skills and Education
Bachelor's Degree and 8 years work experience or equivalent experience.
Candidates should have experience in the following fields: FISMA, CyberStat, Data Analytics, Risk Scoring, Assessments.
Preferred Skills and Education
Experienced in collaborating with senior level IT managers (i.e. CISO, CIO level) to define performance challenges and design performance measurement solutions to inform management decision making.
