In this role, you'll ensure quality for new Alexa features and architecture. You'll build skills in voice interfaces and scalable platforms to grow your career. Key job responsibilities
- Development of test strategies and creation of appropriate test harnesses
- Collaborate with a team of quality engineering professionals to ensure the highest quality product delivery
- Work closely with developers to identify root causes and resolve issues
- Utilize professional software engineering practices & best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and management regarding requirements and provide status updates
- Implement test-driven development and establish robust test infrastructures
- Automate the validation of user interfaces • Interact and coordinate test activities across teams
- Demonstrate excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in API & Mobile testing
- Experience designing and planning test conditions, test scripts, and test data sets to ensure appropriate and adequate coverage and control

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $75,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $183,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
