The Associate Director, Sales and Business Development is responsible for the development, implementation, and execution of sales strategies that clearly define achievable revenue, profit margin, customer development and marketing objectives in line with facility capacity and technical capabilities. Essential responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Generate new business relationships to grow the company’s current client base in Spokane, WA and Montreal, Canada.
Maintain good relationships with new customers to expand product lines and increase volumes.
Stay current with changes and enhancements to the marketplace and industry standards, develop and adjust marketing plans accordingly.
Develop annual corporate revenue forecast. May be required to provide re-forecasts of revenue from time to time.
Liaise with manufacturing and technical divisions to keep informed of technological enhancements to expand product offerings or volume and productivity increases.
Conduct financial feasibility studies and develop proposals for new business opportunities.
Provide superior level customer service by providing timely product information, expertise, and service as required.
Work closely with manufacturing and quality/regulatory group for optimization of operations and processes for New Product Introductions.
Develop short and long term strategic and business plans, manage sales performance.
Participate in trade shows.
Negotiate new customer supply agreements and renegotiate renewals of expiring existing agreements.

Qualifications:
Bachelor of Arts or Science in Sales, Marketing, Business or related field required. Master’s degree in Business desired.
Minimum 10 years related experience required.
Management experience required.
Pharmaceutical and FDA regulated industry experience desired.
Strategic planning and execution of marketing strategies, advertising campaigns, and successful public relations required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
Physical Requirements: 20/30 corrected near-point vision and prolong sitting. Travel over 40%.
