Currently, we are recruiting for a Parts Support Representative (Call Center) for our Corporate Office located in Charlotte, NC. This position performs a variety of duties in the Charlotte Parts Support Center, including answering customer calls, retrieving part numbers for all Cummins products, entering orders in BMS, preparing purchase orders and processing sales.

Bi-Lingual Preferred but not required - English and affluent in many different dialects of the Spanish of the Americas.


  • Possesses detailed knowledge of retail and parts department operations
  • Retrieves part numbers from books, microfiche, electronic catalog and other computerized systems as necessary.
  • Prepares and processes purchase orders.
  • Prepares counter billing (invoices).
  • Processes credit card sales.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and telephone etiquette.
  • Detail oriented attention to detail and follow through.
  • Pleasant and cooperative attitude with co-workers.
  • Prompt arrival and regular attendance at work.
  • Able to balance a heavy workload and work with limited supervision.
  • Must be well organized.
  • Must have good listening skills.


  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum two years parts department experience.
  • Working knowledge of diesel engines.
  • Proficient in Windows 7, Lotus Notes and other software as required.
  • Able to use all standard office equipment: printers, copiers and fax machines.
  • Completes an individual development plan for personal and professional improvement.
  • Attends classes, seminars and other training sessions as required.
  • Performs additional duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
  • Supports and reflects Cummins practice of being customer led and customer focused.

Compensation and Benefits

Base hourly rate commensurate with experience .
