We are seeking an energetic and customer-oriented Team Member to join our cafe. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and preparing high-quality food and beverages.
This is a full-time position with a schedule that may include weekends. The expected work schedule is 40 hours per week, with possible shifts on Saturday and Sunday. Scheduling flexibility is preferred to accommodate fluctuations in business needs
Weekend availability is a must for this position, as our business operates 7 days a week. Successful candidates must be available to work on both Saturdays and Sundays during normal business hours. Flexibility in scheduling is a plus, as additional hours may be required based on business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a smile and take their orders accurately
- Prepare and serve food and drinks to customers' specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times
- Manage cash and credit card transactions and provide accurate change
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the cafe
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, as needed
- Continuously strive to provide an exceptional customer experience
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the food and beverage industry
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Basic math skills and attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
