The Manhattan and Old Westbury English Departments of the College of Arts and Sciences seek adjunct faculty to teach courses in developmental writing, first-year composition (for native and ESL speakers), technical and professional writing, and speech communication.


Candidates must possess a Master's Degree or Ph.D. in a related discipline and have college-level teaching experience. Knowledge of instructional technologies is desirable. We especially welcome familiarity with Blackboard and experience in computer writing classrooms.
