GuidePoint Security has an immediate opening for a Systems Engineer with Web Development expertise to join our cyber team supporting the Government Customer’s Computer Network Defense (CND) Program. The dedicated professionals supporting this effort develop a variety of security solutions. We provide mission-focused end-to-end systems engineering and analytic expertise to enhance operationally deployed systems, guide the acquisition of complex systems under development, and architect systems and technologies of the future. We provide solutions that respond efficiently and effectively to customer requirements by providing our systems engineering disciplines. This approach yields outstanding program execution, which translates directly into mission success.

Role and Responsibilities:
Provide web development services, including data visualization, related to the delivery of Cyber Security services
Collaborate with the customer to understand web development requirements and design to customer specifications
Bring web development experience to bear in recommending new and different ways of making the customer web presence more user-focused and user-friendly
Respond to corporate requests as required

Requirements:
Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with an active polygraph
Must currently possess an active DoD 8570 cyber certification at IAT Level II or higher (customer requirement; no exceptions…PLEASE NOTE: Security + certifications without the Continuing Education [CE] requirement are not DoD 8570-compliant)
Must have bachelor’s degree and at least three (3) years of specific IT working experience; experience in lieu of degree will be considered
Experience within Windows and Linux environments, including the ability to undertake command line operations

Hands-on experience with the following:
Web development
Amazon Web Services
Application Programming Interface
Proficiency with web services protocols, especially the Representation State Transfer (REST) and/or the Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP)
Ability and willingness to learn new web development techniques and languages
9+ years experience is strongly preferred
Security + CE, CISSP certifications are highly desired
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math is highly desired
Python and Angular experience/expertise are highly desired
Familiarity with Docker containers is highly desired
Familiarity with Git (Github, bitbucket, etc.) is highly desired
Experience performing customer service operations within the past three years is desired
Experience having worked and written on deadline at the SES, General Officer, or C-Suite level is desired
