Your Role:
As a Carrier Sales Manager, you will be at the forefront of our logistics operations. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with carrier partners, overseeing load coverage operations, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality transportation solutions. Your strategic planning and team management skills will be crucial in meeting the dynamic needs of our clients and carriers.
We are looking for an experienced, driven individual who understands the industry and is seeking the opportunity to have the autonomy to continue shaping our successful heavy haul carrier sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Inspire and develop a highly competent team, setting high expectations and fostering a climate of accountability and excellence.
- Load Coverage Operations: Oversee operations to ensure timely and efficient transportation of goods.
- Carrier Onboarding: Ensure a superior onboarding process for new carriers, maintaining compliance and operational standards.
- Rate Negotiation: Secure competitive pricing while maintaining service quality.
- Relationship Building: Foster long-term partnerships with carriers using our CRM, Salesforce.
- Market Analysis: Use data tools to analyze market trends and optimize operations.
- Problem Solving: Proactively address operational issues to ensure smooth logistics operations.

Qualifications:
- Associate's degree preferred.
- 6+ years of experience in carrier sales with documented success in a leadership position.
- Direct heavy haul experience is required.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM and TMS systems.

Compensation is DOE and includes base and bonus.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
