As part of our continued growth and partnership with Valley Anesthesiology Consultants, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ, we currently have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Surgery/Anesthesia Scheduler. This person will be based out of and work from the Valley Anesthesiology Consultants, Inc. Administrative Offices in Phoenix, AZ.

Essential Functions include:
Schedule anesthesiologists at multiple hospitals and surgery facilities.
Work closely with scheduling physicians and physician managers to administer the daily and on-call schedules.
Notify necessary physicians, operating room personnel and other scheduling staff of any cancellations or added cases.
Confirm cases and ensure efficient scheduling of cases to maximize productivity.
Able to effectively handle multiple phone lines.
Other duties as assigned.

Experience with anesthesia scheduling preferred.
1-3 years of surgery or anesthesia scheduling experience preferred.
Hospital experience preferred.
Medical experience required.
Great communication and telephone skills essential.
Able to multi-task.
Professional attitude, dependability, good organizational skills.
