The Neurology Center is seeking a Referral Coordinator to join our practice in our Carlsbad office. The Referral Coordinator will work alongside the clinical staff to obtain authorization for procedures.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Obtain authorization from insurances via phone, fax, or online portal submission
- Coordinate appeals with Physicians
- Accurately document approvals/denials in EMR system
- Follow up on pending authorizations
Preferred experience:
- EPIC experience
- Experience with HMO, PPO'S, POS'S, and Medicare
- Experience receiving inbound calls from patients
- Prior neurology experience is a plus
We are looking for the right candidate to join our busy team. If you are newer to the field and have the willingness to learn and have a team first attitude we will train the right person.

Pay: $21.00 per hour
