About the Role
The National Makeup Artist role is responsible for executing artistry, education, and events, ensuring messaging, tools and execution is consistent across the omni landscape. In this role, you will lead and train on product knowledge, artistry skills, service and selling techniques that will drive business for bareMinerals and BUXOM Cosmetics. The National Makeup Artist will work cross-functionally to develop Sell-thru talent into authentic influencers, ensuring brand relevancy aligned with customer omni shopping behaviors. The National Makeup Artist is to deliver a flawless experience, meeting or exceeding all KPIs.
Facilitate Train the Trainer format for Omni channels
Co-lead regular Education & Event calls with the Field team to foster brand expertise and delivery skills
Drive E-learning platform participation, ensure 100% completion & engagement
Create & deliver digital content for bareMinerals University and social media platforms
Highly knowledgeable with digital tools such as video editing & posting
Foster and develop key focus areas for Sales & Training Executives (STEs) and RSS teams
Build follower base through in-store appearances and digital channels
Drive Global Artistry POV to ensure a consistent on-brand approach
Collaborate with Global Makeup Artist on campaign launches at photoshoots
Execute Artistry Certification Program with Field Team
Act as a brand ambassador when consumer-facing and create an emotional connection with client
Ensure brand standards are adhered to at POS. Focus on key doors, larger scale retailer events and A launch support.
Execute flawless omni events with Sell-thru team, meeting all KPIs set. Lead by example.
Travel with STEs to develop their skillsets
Deliver expertise and professionalism in every channel
Provide insight into Product Development for key priorities and areas of opportunity

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a retail selling environment
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Experience in developing digital content
- Engaging and active social media presence
- Exceptional Artistry skills
- Proven record of accomplishment in driving ROI and top-line growth during omni events
- Agile, able to work in a fast-paced environment
- High level business acumen, managing both in office and in field calendar
- Remote with travel expectation up to 70% spent in the field
- West Coast based preferred
- Must work 2 Saturdays a month
In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position.
At Orveon Global, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications.
The pay range for this position is $71,000 - $114,00.
The range listed is just one component of Orveon’s total compensation package for employees.
