The Speech and Language Center, founded in 2007 by Lora Nalberczinski, began as a one-woman show in a tiny orange office under a health food store. Our community shared their needs, and we strived to meet them. Today, the Center continues to grow, serving the greater Harrisonburg/Rockingham and Northern Virginia areas. We pride ourselves on our collaborative approach to therapy, drawing upon innovative, evidence-based techniques to create a treatment program that is carefully tailored to each client’s current abilities and treatment goals. Responsibilities:
- Provide outpatient, speech therapy services in a private practice setting
- Provide comprehensive speech therapy evaluations and assessments of client’s abilities
- Properly document client sessions in our EMR system in accordance with company guidelines and timelines
- Provide supervision to Clinical Fellows or SLPAs as needed
- Work across disciplines, both within SLC and with other practices in our broader network
- Support recruiting efforts when possible, including attending staffing conferences and other events (company-paid)
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in speech-language pathology / communication sciences and disorders
- Licensed to practice and supervise speech therapy in Virginia
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
