Description:
La Prairie seeks a Business Manager to lead and motivate our retail sales team to meet or exceed sales targets and to contribute to overall sales growth.

The Business Manager responsiblities include:
  • Motivates and leads teams to achieve or exceed the planned retail sales goals
  • Monitors retail goals daily, weekly and monthly in accordance with the seasonal plan (MTS)
  • Establishes sales goals for each beauty adviser and monitors results through the daily business record
  • Creates a unified team focused on customer oriented sales efforts; fosters an environment of teamwork, graciousness and harmony
  • Ensures that Beauty Adviser provides every customer with a service experience per the Diamond Service protocol
  • Ensures that Beauty Advisers are selling products based on listening and attending to customer needs, and that every transaction is a personalized experience
  • Sets example by training Beauty Advisers to capture client information, input customer data including customer registration rate and email capture; replenishment focus
  • Runs reports, queries, etc., in order to maximize sales opportunities (events, new products, replenishment)
  • Captures competitive retail sales, including comments on what is working for the competition
  • Monitors, analyzes and identifies opportunities based on utilizing the Four Essential selling strategy
  • Researches and develops new business opportunities by cultivating relationships with other departments or outside groups that will result in increased retail sales and brand exposure
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years of cosmetics/skincare sales experience, including 2 years’ experience managing staff
  • Ability to set appropriate sales goals and motivate staff to achieve the goals
  • Superior customer service skills and the ability to coach staff in improving customer service
  • Demonstrated knowledge of products and services and the ability to ensure that Beauty Advisors have the knowledge and tools needed to successfully perform their jobs
  • Experience in and success in prospecting for and developing new clientele; ability to develop and maintain a strong network of contacts
  • Ability to manage staff and to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities, and meeting deadlines
  • Ability to effectively and fairly set up work schedules; highly dependable and flexible to work various schedules, holidays and to fill in as needed
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers, peers and management
  • Ability to perform with a high level of professionalism and present a positive image
