Job Description;

The Bookkeeping roles is a support role for our small to mid-sized client base. We are seeking a qualified professional with excellent communication skills, technical skills, that is detail oriented, can lead by example, and is comfortable working with a diverse client base.

This is a newly created role here at the firm and this position has a tremendous opportunity for growth. This a great opportunity for someone seeking a position with a growing regionally sized firm.

  • Job Description;
  • Maintaining client records
  • Reconcile Credit Card statements
  • Generate weekly reports
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Preparation of and reviewing financial statements
  • Will assist with the preparation of tax returns
  • Journal entries
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Handling Client questions
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping and generally used accounting procedures
  • Comfortable working in a deadline driven fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate verbally, in writing, in a clear and concise professional manner
  • Ability to work independently

Required Education and Experience

  • Associate degree in Accounting required.
  • 4 years of Bookkeeping exp.
  • Strong working knowledge of Quick Books accounting software
  • Intermediate level experience using Excel, Word, and Outlook
