We are looking for an ASSEMBLER

Compensation structure: $18.00-$20.00/hour (based on experience) + quarterly bonus ( based on site performance)

What our ASSEMBLER does:
-
Prepare materials or merchandise for assembly line production by reading provided tickets that identify materials needed; gather prescribed materials from stock using forklifts, hand trucks, and rolling carts.

Assemble various millwork products such as exterior and interior door units, wooden patios, Dutch doors, casing, and window units by reading orders.

Identify necessary modifications; operate machinery that modifies the product; prepare the product for shipment by applying casing, sleeves, stickers, etc.

Inspect the overall quality of assembled product throughout the assembly process.

Repair and/or disassemble defective millwork to prepare it for resale or restock.

Maintain a clear production area free of debris; properly store and secure work materials, hardware, tools, and equipment.

Attend all safety trainings and meetings; comply with OSHA and agency safety policies.

Perform routine maintenance on all tools used including cleaning, oiling, checking to ensure proper functioning, calibrating machines, checking measuring tool accuracy, and notifying a supervisor of larger repairs or malfunctions.

Willing and able to be cross-trained to handle all stations along the line.
What you need to have:

High School diploma or equivalent
-
1-2 years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Ability to operate warehouse equipment such a forklift, chop saw, door machine, and drill
-
Ability to frequently lift and/or move 75-100 pounds
