E2i is looking for a full-time Senior Process Automation Engineer (Level III) for our Engineering Team in Indianapolis, IN. We are headquartered just one hour south of Chicago with additional offices in Massachusetts and Pennsylvania.

We provide Automation, Validation and Manufacturing Intelligence services primarily to clients in the pharmaceutical industry. Our skilled team of Engineers is growing rapidly, and due to their continued success, we are seeking to add several more team members to our Engineering Department.

Location & Travel:
Primary Location: Indianapolis, IN
10-25% Travel: Occasional travel to other clients for short-term projects, commissioning activities, and training courses

Your Role’s Responsibilities:
Designing, implementing and supporting PLC, HMI and SCADA software for control systems and equipment
Designing, implementing, and supporting electrical hardware systems
Work independently or as part of a team; may also serve as Project Lead for large automation projects
Typically responsible for all phases of an automation project, from early development through completion; may also be responsible for project management and training exercises as needed
Understanding manufacturing processes and process instrumentation
Demonstrating solid rapport with clients, peers and supervisors
Being a self-starter that can work both independently and in team-based project environments

What You Need for this Position:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related engineering field
5 – 7+ Years of experience in process controls and automation
5 – 7+ Experience in programming/developing/configuring PLC, HMI and SCADA systems (experience with Rockwell, FactoryTalk View SE/ME, iFix or Wonderware is a plus)
