Professional Qualifications / Specific Task / Responsibilities

This position is designated as Information Assurance Technician (IAT-II) Certificate at level II. The Systems Analyst must be IA trained and certified, and must maintain appropriate certifications in the computing environment (CE) for the operating system(s) they support.

Responsibilities to include but not limited to:

Computer Systems Analyst shall provide support to implement and install new systems, hardware, software and develop local technical standard operating procedures for Ancillary Services Branch: Sleep clinic, Pathology laboratory, Pharmacy, Radiology, Operating Room (OR), and Women’s Health Clinic.

Computer Systems Analyst shall provide support to install, configure, troubleshoot and maintain the Clinical Systems electronic health records (EHR) software, Picture Archiving Systems (PACS), PowerScribe, PenRad, and MRS, Laboratory Information Systems (LIS), Laboratory Interface Operations (LIO), robotic Drug Dispensing Systems such as Pharm2000 (Parata system), PickPoint and ScriptPro, CadWell Sleep Clinic system, Surgical Scheduling System (S-3) and Innovian Anesthesia Recording and Monitoring Device (ARMD), Q-Flowsystem as well as all relevant Applications Server and desktop hardware, operating system software (e.g. MicrosoftWindows Server 2012, Windows 10 Pro), and peripheral network equipment such as medical devices, printers, switches, cabling system, and network interface cards.

Computer Systems Analyst shall provide medical systems support to include, maintenance and management of the MTF LAN/WAN LAN/WAN on and off-site locations.

Computer Systems Analyst shall support the overall infrastructure at an MTF and respond to, detect, report, record, diagnose and resolve the occurrence of network faults as well as measure network performance and connectivity on a daily basis. Computer Systems Analyst shall serve as resource for coordination, troubleshooting, problem resolution, local inventory interfaces with MTF staff, and shall provide customer service and guidance to the various staff within the LAN/WAN elements.

Computer Systems Analyst must be capable of installing, relocating, configuring, modifying and testing network equipment including, but not limited, to routers, hubs, switches, servers and terminal servers. Computer Systems Analyst must be familiar with CISCO, Brocade, Windows Server hardware and software.

Computer Systems Analyst shall provide supports day-to-day operations of Ancillary

Clinical Systems in Client-Server, Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN)

This position is designated as Information Assurance Technician (IAT-II) Certificate at level II. The

Systems Analyst must be IA trained and certified, and must maintain appropriate certifications in the

computing environment (CE) for the operating system(s) they support.

The Contract employee must have a ‘SECRET’ security clearance to allow Privilege Level (root,

administrator, or super-user account(s) and authenticator) access to network and computer systems (e.g. desktop clients, Servers, switches, etc.) in Non-classified Internet Protocol (IP) Router Network

(NIPRNET) environment.

Computer Systems Analyst shall support diagnostics and configuration connectivity of MHS site/service specific servers, such as DBSS, CHCS, AHLTA, DMLSS, operating systems, office

automation, etc. Assist with the establishment and implementation of network policies, procedures and standards to include network security.

Computer Systems Analyst works with end users, Global Service Center, vendors, contractors, and higher commands to resolve all trouble tickets reported for Ancillary Clinical Systems trouble calls.

Collects Performance Measurement information as required.

Defines and recommends minimum standards, as applies to database operations on the network, access to the Internet and its impact on overall network resourcing and operations.

Must have requirements:

  • Must have Active Secret Clearance
  • Microsoft CE Certifications (either Windows 10 or Windows 2012 Server)
  • Information Assurance Technician (IAT-II) Certificate at level II
  • CompTIA "Security+" Certification or higher
  • Certified HIPAA

Salary: $98,000.00 to $110,000.00 /year
