The Consulting Systems Engineer is responsible for the Design and Implementation of complex Mid-Market to Enterprise technology solutions for Cerium Networks customers. Considered a Technical Expert in multiple areas with a comprehensive understanding of the current Microsoft Modern Workplace portfolio. This position can be located in Seattle or Spokane, WA.

The Consulting Systems Engineer is integral to Solution Design as well as Project Delivery, and is one of the key participants in Cerium’s drive to achieve customer success. The Consulting Systems Engineer not only helps educate and consult with staff and clients in setting appropriate expectations regarding the benefits of technology solutions, but is also instrumental in working with vendors and partners to design and implement appropriate technical solutions, developing and executing on deployment methodologies, assisting with proposals as well as presentations and demonstrations.

The responsibilities include participating in developing opportunities with clients, technical design, implementation, and collaborating with Cerium account managers, engineers, project managers as well as supporting manufacturers.

Design and architecting of technical solutions which includes, but is not limited to developing proposals, scopes of works, service delivery proposals, and other necessary service documentation
Work with project delivery team to plan, deploy, and document Microsoft solutions into customer networks.
Maintain a strategic understanding of the current Microsoft portfolio and other relevant Cloud technologies.
Identify and evaluate new technology solutions, participate in necessary technical training
Sustain an appropriate level of customer satisfaction and help facilitate resolution of technical problems on all supported products
Develop and maintain positive relationships with peers and keep current on technology products.
Professional development and growth including Manufacturer accreditation certifications.
Requirements
5+ years of customer facing experience as a Support/Systems Engineer or Solutions Architect in an enterprise environment
Healthy curiosity for technology and a drive for working in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication, and strong presentation skills
Minimum 5 years of Microsoft solution implementation and experience preferred
4 year degree preferred
MCSA or MCSE preferred
Network and communications systems trouble shooting experience
Experience with Audiocodes Gateways and SBCs a plus
Interpersonal relationship skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Customer service skills and experience
Strong organization abilities
