Manage CI program as well as individual continuous improvement projects (manage both BPO and internal team project governance to deliver defined business value targets)
Assist in governing Americas GBS Standard Operating Procedure process to ensure standard ways of working and clear, updated process documentation
Train and coach other team members on the DMAIC project methodology
Define strategy and develop roadmaps and workplans to achieve the vision
Deliver insights and new process improvement ideas to GBS operations and key business stakeholders, then prioritize to deliver most business value after aligning with stakeholders
Manage and standardize document library and required maintenance for Americas GBS (contracts, routines, on/off boarding of BPO, etc)
Liaison with global business process experts and 3rd party operators to ensure process proposals align to global playbook and are feasible to execute
Identifying opportunities for growth and improvement
Streamlining processes and workflow
Testing new ideas and processes
Reducing waste and cost
Finding more flexible ways to achieve results
Delivering strategic value, and innovating and enhancing services over time to meet the changing needs of the business
Identify opportunities, plan, lead, and coordinate continuous improvement initiatives and ensure effective execution of key business and operational excellence strategies
Liaise between the GBS operations team and the various IT service delivery and business functions
Partner with GBS site leaders to communicate, train, and deploy various Continuous Improvement methodologies and practices
Challenge organizational leaders to take CI to the next plateau
Free up capacity to further grow GBS operations
Influence senior leaders regarding mindset & behavioral changes necessary to establish a culture of continuous improvement
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business degree preferred
Blackbelt certification required with 6- 10 years’ project experience
Previous experience managing large scale projects from start to finish
Experience in delivery of change management for new tools and process
Strong discipline to analyze and design end-to-end business process
Process experience in shared services or equivalent back office operations
Strong communications skills; ability to interact with management, stakeholders and manage 3rd party providers
Require strong business acumen, effective communication and the ability to influence others.
Experience in defining strategy and developing roadmaps and workplans to achieve that vision.
Strategic thinker and problem solver, capable of analyzing complex business processes and leading projects & teams focused on standardizing, optimizing and automating business operations
