Responsible for the design, development and delivery of educational content on products and systems intended for Commercial and Consumer markets to internal and external audiences. Also, provide support for a variety of marketing activities, including but not limited to public relations, trade show preparation and lead management, advertising schedules, media communications, product knowledge, material creation and documentation, and updating and maintaining external company and product listings and databases.
Create content for technical documents including data sheets, installation sheets, and owner's manuals working with a variety of internal groups including Engineers, Technical support, Marketing, and Sales.
Create content for product web pages and category pages using available resources and interested departments to ensure accuracy and usability.
Design, build, and maintain PowerPoint presentations for sales and educational initiatives that meet design and objectives of the company. Involves working with a variety of internal groups, including Engineers, Technical support, Marketing, Sales, and Management.
Research and write information for the weekly AtlasIED blog via atlasied.com using relevant topics to increase AtlasIED position as education leader in industry and to drive web traffic to website.
Develop content for printed and online brochures and catalogs working closely with the graphic design department to formulate cohesive materials that clearly define the advantages of our products while maintaining brand standards.
Develop and write scripts for marketing videos as directed by VP or Marketing.
Coordinate registration and communication with target audiences for educational content (company partners, independent manufacturer’s representatives, and select dealers/customers), then conduct follow-up of various education courses to ensure the integrity of the concepts and strategies presented.
Assist in the development of application white papers. Includes developing product applications stories and other sales tools, interviewing appropriate Engineer or Technical Specialist and develop application guidelines, system design, etc.
Write text and work with graphics group as required to prepare a customer friendly presentation and additional marketing materials.
When directed, coordinate the development of press releases for new products, trade show events, etc. Includes gathering information and pictures, writing, editing, proofing, re-writing, and sending to the media.
Create and maintain internal media blast lists for press releases and provide point of contact for media on all press, advertising, and editorial opportunities.
Create content for a variety of applications and mediums to provide product information to reps, customers, and end users.
Assist in preparing for all trade shows and events and coordinate post show lead follow-up with internal and external groups.
Provide customer support and assist in answering questions from partners, representatives, dealers, and end users through various means including in-field trainings, website technical support and chat, etc.
Bachelor's Degree (four year college or university)
One to two years related experience in marketing and trade shows
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud applications
Basic understanding of HTML and CSS coding
Technical writing and/or journalism experience, preferably in an audio related field.
Strong interpersonal, communicative and motivational skills and skilled in preparing instructional aids and plans
Ability to function in a rapid-paced, multi-task work environment.
