The following is a list of tasks that the CANDIDATE will be trained to perform. After the training period the CANDIDATE will be expected to perform these tasks. All tasks are at the direction of the department project manager (PM).
- The CANDIDATE will be required to spend time with our field crews to learn the basics of our business from the field aspect.
- CANDIDATE will become proficient in CAD and the production of shop drawings, insulation, metal deck and tectum layouts and cut sheets for ordering materials.
- Assist with material layouts for all products.
- Assist with the submittal process as required.
- Issue purchase orders and order materials.
- Maintain the production calendar daily – coordinate with PM and superintendent.
- Produce production sheets for all projects.
- Maintain inventory records for materials as the shop.
- Assist with the warranty processing by project.
- CANDIDATE will be required, after proper training, to measure existing roofs, take relevant photos and compare actual conditions to drawings.
- The CANDIDATE will attend jobsite meetings as required.
- Special Projects.
