Work Schedule : Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. CT or as workload dictates

Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a talented and highly motivated individual to take incoming calls from our customer base, enter orders, and assist clients with product issues. You will also be responsible for helping us maintain a high level of customer retention for our partner companies; Lighthouse Healthcare Partners, Research Supply Company and Unimed Government Services.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Respond to customer requests for product information
  • Assist customers in processing sales orders
  • Collaborate with Sales team to develop efficient methods for handling issues
  • Work on special projects related to customized support for larger customers
  • Assist in ways to increase customer satisfaction levels
  • Run nightly sales reports for orders entered
  • Additional tasks as assigned
  • Enter orders that are received by phone, fax e-mail and EDI system
  • Process a high volume of calls from customers
  • Acknowledges orders as necessary per account Verifies pricing discounts, billing and shipping addresses, credit status, and informs customers of any problems. Notifies customers of product backorders and anticipated availability
  • Ability to analyze requests and suggest solutions
  • Assist in making collection calls

Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • 2+ years’ experience in a customer service role
  • Proficiency with MS Office
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Previous experience with Sage 50 system is preferred but not required
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, confident and ability to learn new skills
  • Ability to plan, organize and manage multiple tasks.
