Influencer Relations Manger
Manage day-to-day operations for brand influencer and ambassador programs and relationships. Work with marketing and communications teams to strategize, plan, and execute product and campaign-based digital influencer programs that will drive the most buzz, engagement, conversation, and conversion on social, as aligned with business objectives and goals. Build authentic relationships with existing and emerging digital influencers, fostering lasting connections between talent and brand. Understand, learn and contribute in the brand’s influencer landscape and how it effects their social platforms, content creation patterns, and relationships.
Work with the communications team to execute a digital influencer strategy for launch and always-on brand activities, including but not limited to strategic seeding, paid content and partnerships, meet-ups and visits.
Project manage organic and paid programs to ensure plans are on-time, within budget, and in alignment with brand marketing priorities. Work with cross-functional teams and serve as project point person for external agencies / vendors on projects from start to completion.
Manage master talent and mailing list, strengthening existing relationships, reaching out to up-and-coming talent, updating and optimizing network in real-time. Constantly comb through brand social to uncover digital influencers/consumer advocates who love the brand or who would be a brand fit.
Proactively monitor influencer activity across social to report on trends, content and collaborations to get ahead of the next “big idea.”
Make timely, impactful recommendations for digital activations and partnerships that will help grow the brand, based on research and relationship-building.
Monitor metrics on a daily basis to evaluate program effectiveness against brand KPIs; synthesize learnings to adapt and optimize programs and best practices for most impact in formal reports and in real-time.
2+ years experience in a marketing related business setting required.
Experience in social media, influencer relations and program management preferred.
Branding/beauty/wellness experience a plus.
Strong quantitative skills and ability to interpret data for real-time optimization; knowledge of key social media. Understanding of paid media/social advertising a plus.
Active daily life in digital and social media, very digitally savvy and curious, passionate about pop culture and social, enthusiastic about forging relationships with influencers and tastemakers.
Excellent communication and writing skills, and strong creative judgement to recognize what is on brand and on trend.
Be comfortable stepping in and helping the marketing team when and as needed in cross functional capacity.
Demonstrate enthusiastic, 24/7 approach to responsibilities.
Demonstrate proactivity and “can-do” attitude in all assignments. Thinks strategically and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and agencies/vendors seamlessly.
Four-year college degree or equivalent preferred.
