A Business Development Specialist with Telligen will assist the VP of Business Development/Sales with sales functions and support the extended Business Development strategies to grow new business revenue. This primarily includes building relationships with channel partners and prospects, conducting solution demonstrations, supporting the development of proposals, gathering market intelligence, and coordinating Business Development meetings, among other activities. The Business Development Specialist will partner with cross functional areas of the organization to ensure sales production activities meet or exceed specific performance standards.

The Gig:
You will provide proactive sales outreach. Address prospect, channel and client sales inquiries. Conduct solution presentations. Coordinate, attend, and represent Telligen at trade shows. Coordinate sales meetings and follow up. Ensure prospect, channel and client sales communications are documented in sales database. Ensure outbound sales calls and sales and marketing materials meet company guidelines and standards. Provide resources and support to meet sales goals.
You will assist in proposal and presentation development. Organize and maintain the sales database with updated information. Recommend and suggest ways to achieve closed wins. Make recommendations for improvement and efficiencies to enable Telligen to reach its strategic goals.
You will stay abreast of industry trends. Gather and document market intelligence.

What you need to make the cut:
Bachelor's degree in business, communication, marketing and/or related field.
0-3+ years experience in B2B sales.
Prior sales experience is preferred.
