The Neuroscience division is seeking a Movement Disorders Neuropsychologist to join its Movement Disorders Program. The Neuropsychologist performs neuropsychological, behavioral assessments, psychotherapeutic and rehab interventions as allowed by NYS Law and delineated by appropriate Medical Board approved scope of practice for the Movement Disorders department.
Supports Movement Disorders Program
Collaborates with Movement Disorders physicians and other clinicians in the assessment of patients for potential DBS surgery
Evaluate before and after functional neurosurgical procedures
Evaluates care provided for positive patient outcomes
Analyzes outcome/follow-up data for purposes of performance improvement and research if applicable
Maintains related documentation
