Job Functions

Seeking a full time, salaried individual, who is sharp and learns quickly. The ability to communicate effectively is key. Candidate will maintain an assigned portfolio of clients, traveling to client premises to produce work. Reports regularly to Financial Comfort. Works with client management and deals with their staff, vendors and customers. Keeps records of financial transactions for each client.

Must follow documented Client Procedures that vary from client to client. Tasks may include but are not limited to the following:


Record sales transactions from a variety of sources including invoices, receipts and/or point-of-sale reports
Record new vendor bills
Determine bills to be paid, generate checks and bill payments
Reconcile bank and credit card accounts online
Prepare payroll and payments for independent contractors
Prepare accounts receivable reports
Prepare accounts payable reports
Update cash flow forecast
Maintain reports

Reconcile bank accounts and cash accounts
Reconcile credit card and loan balances
Generate balance sheet
Generate profit loss statement
Compile reports pertinent to operation of business
As Needed

Maintain all lists within accounting software
Interact with staff, vendors, and customers to accomplish above tasks
Research accounting, tax, financial, insurance, human resource regulations and policies
Application management: QuickBooks; Intacct and similar; PayPal, Square, Stripe, and similar; Expensify;; Transaction Pro Importer; cloud-based file management

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
  • At least 5+ years' of accounting/bookkeeping experience
  • Detail oriented
  • Very tech savvy
  • Strong knowledge of debits and credits
  • Knowledge with using QuickBooks Online, MS Office applications, Payroll, A/P, A/R, G/L
  • Familiarity with Mac is a plus.
  • Knowledge of month-end closing, year-end reviews, bank reconciliations, cash flow maintenance
  • Capable of generating and understanding financial reports: P&L, balance sheet, cash flow
  • Proactive, takes initiative
  • Takes ownership, responsible, and detail oriented
  • Excellent analytical skills
Please apply if your salary requirement is within our budget range of $45K- $60K a year. Final salary will be based off candidate's experience.
