The Business Systems Analyst is also responsible for generating and compiling reports based on the findings, complete with probable causes and possible solutions to systems issues. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of IT system investments.
Strategy & Planning - Meet with decision makers from Consulate Management Company, its affiliates’ (EMC, EHC, and CHC) systems owners and end users to define business (financial and operational) requirements and systems goals to identify and resolve systems issues. Lead design sessions in prototyping new systems for the purpose of enhancing business processes, operations and information process flow. Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems. Identify and establish scope and parameters of systems analysis in order to define outcome criteria and measure-taking actions.
Acquisition & Deployment - Collaborate in the planning, design, development and deployment of new applications and enhancements to existing applications. Conduct research on software and hardware products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts. Review and assess third party applications that will require data migration to existing centralized applications.
Operational Management - Provide technical, analytical and operational support to all CMC’s Business Entities and Executive Leadership. Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas in Applications across the organization. Assist in cost-benefit and return on investment analysis for proposed systems to aid management in making implementation decisions. Ensure compatibility and interoperability of in-house Applications. Create systems models, functional specifications, diagrams, workflows and charts to provide direction to system programmers. Provide guidance and/or instruction to junior staff members.
Requirements for this dynamic opportunity includeCollege diploma or university degree in the field of business administration, computer science, accounting or management information systems or minimum of 6 years related work experience. Experience of 3-5 years working as a Business Analyst. Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA) preferred. Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) Database certification preferred. Certified Associate in Software Quality (CASQ) preferred. Working technical knowledge of SQL, HCS, ERPs, EMRs, EHRs and Claims Billing Systems. Must be able to work flexible shift hours and carry a cell phone when required.
