Global Business Services is a major Jacobs initiative transforming how corporate functions interact with and serve our employees, lines of business and customers to provide the best possible customer experience. Our GBS network is anchored by global centres in Krakow and Mumbai with a U.S. regional centre in Tullahoma. This role will be located in our Oakridge facility during transition of global HR functional activities until the Tullahoma facility is operational.
Reporting to the GBS Operational lead, the role holder will be part of a team responsible for providing support to a wide range of employee life cycle activities from hire to retire including but not limited to:
Utilize Service Now to effectively create, respond and accurately record customer requests and inquiries
Triaging US & CA escalated inquiries related to employee life cycle activities, hiring, payroll, benefits, leave of absence
Supporting Managers with inquiries that require more detailed and or complex responses
Collaborating with Global Centre teams and US HR Delivery as needed for case resolution
Process time sensitive cases involving answering of inquiries, completing data entry and resolving payroll related issues
Provide support to the global centres during public holidays and peak workflows as required to ensure service levels are met; including but not limited to data entry for new hires, benefits, address changes, tax changes, etc.
Required to communicate at all levels ensuring exceptional employee satisfaction levels are maintained.
1+ year experience in Human Resources answering inquiries, performing data entry and transactional activities
Proficient typing skills
Proficiency with Oracle Data Entry is required; Service Now experience is a plus
Proficiency with MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
High regard for confidentiality
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional customer service skills
Must be highly organized and able to multi-task
Able to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
