Executes system performance testing and provides application tuning guidance and consultation, utilizing a thorough understanding of applicable technology, tools and existing designs. Acts as an expert technical resource for test modeling, simulation and analysis efforts. Oversees the preparation of test data as needed for each test. Assures quality, performance and compliance requirements are met for supported area.

Creates, prepares and implements systems quality assurance reviews for numerous applications.� Responsible for primary development of testing strategies.� Consults with users, providing advice and direction.� Performs more complex analysis of business requirements and system specifications.�� May serve as a coordinator for all testing activities on a project.� Creates test plans and scripts for own projects.� May lead and review test plans written by others.� Performs moderately complex to complex test data conditioning, regression testing and testing validation.� Provides specific guidance on defects to developers. Gives direction to less experienced analysts.�� Logs, tracks, and verifies resolution of software and specification defects.�� Documents all phases of the Systems QA process.

Responsible for handling the most complex quality assurance and test environment problems and issues. Acts as a lead in the creation, preparation, and conduct of quality assurance reviews and the development and execution of test plans and test scripts. Works with client to establish and maintain a consistent test methodology and to resolve questions during the testing process. May serve as a coordinator for all testing activities on a project. Analyzes, tests, and certifies application-specific software and performs ambiguity reviews of business requirements and functional specification documents. Uses advanced knowledge of applications to provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and resolving highly complex test problems. Researches new products and industry methodologies and facilitates the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards. Plans and directs quality assurance schedules and assignments, and monitors project status in comparison to cost/time projections. Logs, tracks, and verifies resolution of software and specification defects. Documents all phases of QA process. Directs and serves as a mentor to less experienced staff.

Responsible for daily metrics and test execution reports on Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing. Coordination of functional testing with interface partners, as well as planning, tracking, and reporting of upcoming testing efforts. Conduct live meetings and white board discussions with internal team members and interface partners.

7+ years IT quality assurance and systems/application testing experience.

Required Qualifications
  • Extensive Test Coordination experience (5+ years)
  • Agile background
  • Experience with coordinating testing with multiple testing partners simultaneously is required.�
  • Strong experience with creating test metrics and test execution reports will be critical skills as well.�
  • Exposure to JIRA tool for Agile as well as ALM Quality Center for defect management
  • well versed in creating test scripts and in testing environments
