Position Summary

Reporting the Vice President, Human resources, this role is responsible for the Learning & Development/Associate Engagement primarily for our store population. Position will assist in the design, development, and facilitation of internal training programs to further enhance and support the PGA TOUR Superstore’s culture with associates at all levels in our Store Operations organization.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:
Demonstrate understanding and apply knowledge of adult learning theory and advanced facilitation skills in delivery of courses
Use of Learning Management Systems to supplement learning and retention
Skilled at measuring the outcomes of learning initiatives to demonstrate the value to the organization
Clearly articulate creative ideas to enhance organizational learning needs
Work with Senior Leadership to develop overall Learning strategy for future needs
Develop and facilitate management training programs to meet strategic business goals
Instructional Design

Continually looking for opportunities and development needs within the organization
Identify current skill gaps and develop training solutions
Creatively builds and/or enhances training content and ensures messaging and content is aligned with top priorities, company culture and best practices
Analyze, design, develop and implement curriculum for store/store support center associates and management development
Collaborate with subject matter experts/managers on key deliverables
Assist in the development of new modules within a curriculum to reinforce PGA Tour Superstore’s process or highlight a new product lunch or service via e-Learning, web-based sessions or instructor-led training
Produce videos and other media content for use in training objectives
Create job aids, user guides, tutorials, video content, and instructor led classes to assist associate job functions
Management/Organization

Prepare, organize and manage classroom and online environments to foster learning
Investigate available training methods and procedures to determine the most effective way to conduct programs
Assist Senior Leadership in Succession Planning Development Plans
Assist in the design and implementation of an onboarding/orientation programs for all new associates. Assist in planning the annual training calendar and budget, through collaboration with Operations (Vendor Training Events, New Store Openings, New Product Launches, federal and/or state compliance training, etc.)
Internal Communications

Build and help execute an internal communications calendar, as well as ad-hoc internal communications mailers communicating associate recognition and community affairs events
Produce and distribute regular communications to the field

Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications :
Experience working with Workday Learning Management System or other LMS platforms
Creating campaigns, audiences and courses within Workday
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Design, or related field (Relevant work experience can be substituted for the required education)
5 years of experience in a management role and a strong understanding of all HR areas which include, benefits, recruiting & staffing, succession planning, organizational development, associate relations, compensation, relocation, and performance management.
Ability to work independently, multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment
Minimum of 2 years professional training experience, preferably in a retail setting
Knowledge of HR principles and practices is important
PHR and/or other Learning certifications a plus
Experience working with survey vehicles such as Survey Monkey
An understanding of program authoring tools, such as Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, Vyond and Photoshop
Video production and editing a plus
Proven aptitude for building relationships, credibility and trust with internal stakeholders, and creating a harmonious work environment
Possess the ability to influence without direct authority
Solution-oriented and innovative; can identify creative options that address multiple stakeholders’ needs
Ability to organize multiple priorities to ensure that key processes and procedures are implemented and that resources are properly allocated to meet organizational goals.
Analytic and decisive decision maker with the ability to prioritize and communicate to management team key objectives and tactics necessary to achieve organizational goals.
Leadership ability to influence while working with Senior Leadership to facilitate collaborative processes.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; a persuasive and passionate communicator with excellent public speaking skills.

Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
Communication: Strong listening and interpersonal skills. Must possess good verbal, written and visual communication skills. Must be able to work well with diverse groups and influence others to keep resources aligned with organizational goals.
Organizational: Strong organizational skills with the ability to help develop and execute training program/curriculums to support organizational needs. Aptitude of inspiring goals to associates and following up on execution of programs and initiatives.
Computer: Basic computer skills with the working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Strong knowledge of html for all digital design needs

Supervisory Responsibility :
This position has no direct supervisory responsibility but will be expected to provide leadership throughout the organization

Travel: Moderate travel – 25%
