Senior Project Manager Stone/Tile Industry

Lido Stone Works - Long Island, NY

  • Plans, organizes, coordinates and controls project work in accordance with corporate policies, procedures, guidelines and requirements and ensures projects are produced on schedule, within budget and meet company profit goals
  • Take a big picture view of strategy, risk assessment and profitability and continuously communicate this view throughout the life of the project to the team members and management
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of all financial processes, controls and reports
  • Oversee the change order process to ensure the extras presented to the owner, are fair and get approved
  • Take an active role in and guide job teams in each phase including pre-construction, construction, closeout and post-construction services
  • Able to communicate project plans throughout the organization and to the customer, and alert the entire internal team to any deviations to schedule as they happen
  • Promote positive relations by dealing professionally and fairly with all team members and instilling this philosophy in project teams at all times
  • Organize and run effective meetings and conference calls required as part of the project. Develop action plans, publish minutes and follow up on action items that arise from the meetings
  • Develop, nurture and maintain ongoing client, architect, subcontractor and industry relationships at the appropriate level, reinforcing our commitment to continuously addressing their needs and interests
  • Coordinate the resolution of customer complaints or site challenges that happen from time to time. Communicate field quality issues back to internal teams and follow up for resolution.
